Rock Solid Knowledge has been developing  IAM components and solutions based on IdentityServer4 and Duende IdentityServer for over 8 years; we are proud to say that all our offerings are now available on the free OpenIddict platform

Our Continued Support for FOSS Frameworks

Rock Solid Knowledge cut its teeth in the SSO world with IdentityServer4, creating a range of products and services to complement the then-free open-source software (FOSS) framework for building SSO solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform.

At Rock Solid Knowledge, we believe that FOSS authors should be rewarded, so we sent a percentage of all our sales to the authors of IdentityServer. IdentityServer transitioned into a fully commercial product, and our relationship changed; we became a commercial partner and continue to build products and services to complement the platform.

What Products will Support OpenIddict?

Roll on to today, and we proudly announce that our product suite can now target OpenIddict, a FOSS platform, giving customers the option of which model to use. As before, we intend to contribute both financially and through pull requests to the platform.

  • AdminUI - Administration UI for managing users and SSO configuration
  • SAML2P - Add SAML2P support to your OpenIddict solution, provide the same SSO experience across both OIDC applications and SAML2P

Within the coming weeks, we will also support our other core components:

  • Passkeys/FIDO2 - Add support for FIDO2 keys and implement password less authentication with Passkeys with just a few lines of code
  • And many more IAM products; SCIM, Enforcer and Dynamic Authentication Providers.

If you are looking to build your solution on either OpenIddict or IdentityServer, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out via our Contact Us page.

Andrew is a Director at Rock Solid Knowledge.
